Searching for Coastal Wolves
From
$8,215

Discover the lush, mist-shrouded islands off northern Vancouver Island, deep in the traditional territory of the T̓łat̕ła̱sikwa̱la First Nation. Here, a unique creature roams the coastlines and pads through the deep moss of the forests: the seldom-seen coastal wolf. Smaller than their grey wolf cousins, coastal wolves are only found between the coastlines and islands of Southwestern Alaska and Vancouver Island and have adapted to a diet based around 90 percent seafood. A sighting of this beautiful and fleeting animal is an unforgettable moment, so join this small group journey of discovery to visit the islands that these wolves call home.
