Travel through Northern Argentina on a journey of vast landscapes and rich culture. Begin in Salta where colonial streets and views from Cerro San Bernardo introduce the northwest. Cross the Puna high plateau to the white expanse of Salinas Grandes, then explore Purmamarca beneath the Hill of Seven Colours. Visit the pre-Hispanic ruins at Tilcara and see the layered slopes of El Hornocal before returning through the Quebrada de Humahuaca. Travel via Cachi and the Calchaquí Valley to Cafayate, where you’ll taste the region’s Torrontés wines. On the return to Salta, follow the Quebrada de las Conchas past rock formations carved by erosion.
