Where the remote Kaska Coast meets the boreal forest in Manitoba, this intimate tour showcases one of nature’s most enigmatic predators in its untamed domain.

10 days

9 nights

Join an extraordinary expedition in the heart of a wilderness 50 times the size of Yellowstone. This 10-day small group tour takes place on the frontier between the vast boreal forest and the frozen Hudson Bay. The expedition’s goal is to search for and hopefully observe nature’s most elusive predator – the grey wolf. March departures showcase the wolves’ breeding season, when courtship unfolds against a wintery landscape of sea ice and snow-drifted forest. In July, head out each day with a National Geographic photographer to scan the flowering tundra for wolves. It’s an unforgettable, intimate experience set against spectacular natural backdrops.

This small group journey departs selected dates in March and July.
