India’s spirituality and wildlife converge on this exciting tour, which takes you from the sacred streets of Varanasi to the ancient temples of Khajuraho. Your journey begins on the banks of the Ganges River as you stay in the spiritual heart of Varanasi. Feel the river’s pulse as you explore by foot and by boat and attend a spectacular Aarthi ceremony before travelling by rain to Khajuraho, known for its intricately decorated 1,000-year-old temples. You’ll stay in a charming wildlife lodge and embark on wildlife safaris in the lush Panna National Park, on the trail of tigers, leopards, crocodiles and nilgai (blue bull). It’s a journey of discovery across the inner and outer beauty of this incredible country.
