Explore Finnish Lapland over four days in Saariselkä, Inari and Nellim, with Sámi heritage and a chance to see the Northern Lights from a glass-roofed cabin.

4 days

3 nights

Explore Finnish Lapland from your base in Saariselkä, staying in a glass-roofed Aurora Cabin and gathering by the fire to search for the Northern Lights. At Sámi Museum Siida in Inari, a guided tour introduces you to Sámi history, culture and contemporary life. Take in the shores of Lake Inari and walk to the flowing rapids of the Juutuanjoki River. In the lakeside village of Nellim, discover the meeting of Finnish, Inari Sámi and Skolt Sámi traditions. Visit its log-built Holy Trinity Church, where icons reflect the Skolt Sámi’s Orthodox Christian heritage, before returning to Saariselkä for evenings beneath the Arctic sky. With favourable conditions, you may see the aurora from your bed.
