At the heart of this vast wetland lies the Caiman Ecological Refuge, a 53,000-hectare private reserve and home to the Onçafari Project. Enjoy expert-led safaris, jaguar tracking, horseback rides, and close encounters with caimans, capybaras, and giant anteaters.

 

This is an itinerary departs daily between November - March and on Sundays during May - October.

Sightseeing

Two shared half-day excursions daily, including 4WD wildlife safaris, Canadian canoe rides, guided hikes, and nocturnal spotlight safaris. One full-day jaguar tracking experience, with morning and late afternoon safaris led by expert trackers.
