Day 1

Johannesberg - Sabi Sabi

On arrival at Johannesburg Airport make your way to the domestic terminal for your flight to Sabi Sabi Game Reserve.

Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge promises a luxury safari experience unlike any other. It is the Sabi Sabi Game Reserve's flagship lodge and is well known for hosting some of the reserve's most famous guests. The lodge is deep in the bushveld and overlooks a waterhole and open plains. Expansive decks provide the perfect place to watch star studded African skies at night and see the abundance of wild African species quench their thirst. This is the land of the Big 5 and on morning and afternoon game drives, you'll traverse this terrain in search of them.

Dinner is a gourmet affair and a fire lit boma is the platform for sharing and reminiscing about the day's adventures. Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge prides itself on being family friendly and children of all ages can learn and take inspiration from the Elefun Centre while you pamper yourself at the Amani Spa. (D)

Day 2

Sabi Sabi

Wake early for a morning game drive in this game-rich paradise. Following a beautiful breakfast, opt for a walking safari with one of the expert guides or relax by the pool overlooking the busy waterhole. Later this afternoon, head out on a game drive. Your guide will be sure to find you the perfect spot for a sundowner before making your way back to the lodge on the look-out for the many nocturnal species.  (B)(L)(D)

Day 3

Sabi Sabi to Grootbos

Following an early morning game drive you will be transferred  for your flight to Cape Town before being transferred by road to Grootbos Private Nature Reserve. 

Tucked between mountains, forest and sea, Grootbos is a luxury eco-reserve close to the southern tip of Africa. With 2500 Hectares of pristine wilderness and 800 plant species, some of which cannot be found anywhere else in the world. It is a melting pot of biodiversity, culture and natural wonder.

​Dining at Grootbos is an experience in its own right, with its unique combination of fresh organic produce, a world-class natural setting and a hugely experienced culinary team. (B)(L)(D)

Day 4

Grootbos

Today choose from a number of nature-based adventures available at Grootbos. Go in search of the ‘Marine Big Five’ Take a 4x4 botanical safari in an open-top Land Rover or explore the reserve on horseback. (B)(L)(D)

Day 5

Grootbos to Cape Town

This morning you will be transferred by road to Cape Town. En route you will stop at the beautiful Winelands for some wine tasting and a tour. Your accommodation for the next 3 nights is at the prestigious Table Bay Hotel, set overlooking the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in beautiful Cape Town.(B)(L)

Day 6

Cape Town

This morning enjoy a sightseeing tour of Cape Town and Table Mountain. You will drive past famous landmarks such as the Castle of Good Hope built in 1666, City Hall, and the Grand Parade. Driving through famous Adderley Street, we will see St. George’s Cathedral: The Anglican Diocese of Nobel Peace Laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Pass the Company Gardens and the Malay Quarter which is situated on the slopes of Table Mountain where slaves were settled. Continue to join a sparkling tour, witness the art of diamond cutting and the careful craftsmanship of jewellery manufacturing by skilled experts. You will be offered the option of continuing to Table Mountain, where you can ascend to the top (weather permitting) by the revolving cable car.  Here you'll see phenomenal views, including Robben Island. Day 7

Cape Town

Today is at your leisure to enjoy everything Cape Town has to offer. (B)

Day 8

Cape Town - Bushman's Kloof Wilderness Reserve

This morning you will be transferred to Bushmans Kloof. This Wilderness Reserve lies at the foothills of the Cederberg Mountains in South Africa and is an area of extreme natural beauty. This five star retreat is the quintessential wilderness escape, a place to restore mind, body and soul. Spend your days being pampered at the health and beauty spa or swim in rock pools near waterfalls.

This reserve has been declared a South African Natural Heritage Site and is a member of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux hotels. The lodge is also celebrated for its country cuisine. Ingredients are harvested directly from the lodge’s vegetable, fruit and herb gardens and paired with award winning South African wines. (B)(L)(D)

Day 9

Bushman's Kloof Wilderness Reserve

There is a diverse range of activities on offer in the Reserve.  There is over 130 unique rock art sites, some as old as 10,000 years. Your expert guide will enlighten you with insights about the images on the rocky overhangs. You’ll get to enjoy a delicious bush breakfast and hear the folklore of the ancient spirit world.

This afternoon cruise down the tributaries of the Olifants River system in a Canoe, taking a dip in the crystal clear pools. (B)(L)(D)

Day 10

Bushman's Kloof Wilderness Reserve

The best possible way to explore this predator and malaria-free reserve is on two feet or two wheels. Armed with a backpack filled with delicious goodies, take on one of the three popular trails in the reserve. You will get up-close-and-personal with fynbos, animals, flowers and rock formations. Day 11
